Leslie is a Florida native, growing up in the central Florida area. Before returning to school to pursue her master’s in Marriage, Family, and Couple’s Therapy, she worked in entertainment industry as a technician. As a technician, she built upon her puzzle solving skills and has transferred these skills to assist in the therapeutic process. She assists clients with navigating bumps and detours we encounter on life’s journey.
Leslie received her Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida and has been working for a non- profit community agency since graduating in 2018. Her time in the agency has helped develop her skills with working with a variety of clientele and client needs. Her experience includes working with Substance Use issues, mental health diagnoses, adolescents, adults, couples, and working with mandated clients.
She is a licensed marriage & family therapist and certified sex therapist. She is a sex positive and LGBTQ affirming therapist. Sex-positive therapy affirms your sexuality, without making it the sole focus of your treatment. Clients can work out issues they have around sexuality, without being pressured to change their identity, or feeling that how they feel is “wrong.” Her approach is rooted in Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Systemic Sex Therapy, providing space for you to discover your truth.
