Joy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She completed her Bachelor Degree at Warner University and obtained her Masters from the University of Southern California. For five years Joy worked for a Non- Profit organization providing outpatient mental health services as well as managing the Woman’s Partial Hospitalization Program for co-occurring disorders. Over the past year she has focused on expanding her private Practice utilizing Rapid Resolution Therapy techniques focused on trauma resolution.
Most recently Joy has added coaching to her skill set and is offering Health and Wellness life coaching to services offered. Therapist’s focus on the person in regards to past and present. They focus on deep understanding of behaviors and patterns. Coaching differentiates itself as it assists people create intention for the future while assisting in setting goals and working as a team to achieve them. Coaches focus on an individuals actions and results while measuring success with specific outcomes and goals. Specifically, A wellness coach provides a safe space to explore goals related to health and well being and to facilitate the creation and implementation of actions towards those goals.
