If you are an overthinker, a black and white thinker, or a people pleaser- thoughts probably have a way of sneaking into your brain, setting up shop, and overstaying their welcome. Sometimes this overthinking and rumination can be a fun in vivo experience of philosophy. Other times it can feel like a crippling panic attack. This tends to be where therapy comes in. As a therapist, hypnotherapist, and yoga teacher I believe my job is to help you learn to utilize your well developed critical thinking skills toward your healing and growth rather than your self destruction.
Through philosophical and holistic frameworks, I work to utilize your own insight and innate self-knowledge. I don't believe in toxic positivity as a healing technique, but rather I work to help you learn to reframe and reconceptualize the slings and arrows life throws at you in a way that you aren't immobilized by them but are empowered to continue forward.
I believe that my job is not to provide answers and solutions, but to collaboratively aid you in mindful growth.
