About Me

Cat is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH17493). She completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at UCF in Psychology and Counselor Education. Growing up in a military family with parents in education and medical, Cat leans toward a client-centered, progress-focused, strengths-based approach. She prioritizes therapeutic relationship and collaboration towards client goals.

Prior experience includes a variety of settings and concerns, with additional focus and in Trauma/PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Anxiety/Stress, Substance use and other Addictions, and Relationship with self and with others. (Prior populations include overseas military and stateside veterans, inpatient addictions, local community, and disaster response support.) Cat mostly works with adults, but also enjoys working with couple communication and stress management.

Cat loves nature, travel, and dance, often incorporating all three into time off. These remind her people are often kind and welcoming with more in common than different. With a background in Mathematics before Mental Health Counseling, learning theory often informs how she views challenges and new experiences, how to regain capacity by utilizing one's strengths, and benefits of compassionate support.
