30 Ways to Challenge What You Thought You Knew About Relationships

The goal of this book is not to finish within a certain amount of days or weeks, but to use the content to push you, your partner, and your relationship to new depths. You may need a break from the content and sometimes you may want to answer more than one a day. There is no right or wrong way to complete this book.

Each partner will answer the first part of the question to promote communication, intimacy, and connection. After each partner has answered the first question, each will then discuss the second question. Depending on your preference, the section titled, “Journal” may be completed in a separate journal or may be used as a discussion point. If you are a writer and prefer to write something down before you share, I encourage you to do just that. If you are not a writer, then I encourage you to take a minute to reflect on what you want to say and proceed when both partners are ready. After this section, you will move on to the Activities section.

Start with question number one. The questions are written and placed in an intentional order to develop communication skills and will move towards deeper questions once you have built a strong communication foundation. Each question will continue to build on the next one ... so to those who like to jump to the end to find out the end of the story, the method to the madness won’t work as effectively if you start in the middle.We invite you to build communication, intimacy, and vulnerability with your partner.
