Tara attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in December of 2015. Upon graduation, Tara accepted an administrative internship position with HD Counseling where she discovered her passion for the field of counseling. She went on to pursue a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University where she graduated with her Master of Science in May 2019.
Tara acknowledges that, although we have certain limits to what we can control in life, we always have the freedom to choose how we respond to a situation. Through the lens of Existential therapy, Tara helps clients take responsibility for the circumstances in their lives and encourages clients to make choices that allow them to live more meaningful lives. Tara’s approach to therapy focuses on the moment-by-moment flow of experience in the counseling relationship and encourages clients to experience their thoughts and feelings in the present moment.
