Emily graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Upon graduating, Emily was employed as a social worker, which further solidified her interest in entering the counseling field. Now, Emily is in the Counselor Education Program at the University of Central Florida in the Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy track. Emily has been gaining experience at the Community Counseling and Research Center at UCF working with adult individuals and couples.
Emily ultimately values being person-centered and meeting the client where they are, wherever that may be. She prefers to use an eclectic approach by integrating aspects of various methods to best serve the unique needs of each client. Emily has a special interest in internal family systems, couples and relationship counseling, and animal-assisted therapy.
