Allie Marino

Allie graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. Upon graduating, Allie continued her education and pursed a Master of Arts in the Counselor Education Program at the University of Central Florida in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track. Allie gained experience at the Community Counseling and Research Center at UCF working with adult individuals as well as Zebra Youth, a non-profit organization serving LGBTQIA+ individuals aged 13-24.

Allie believes healing happens in the therapeutic relationship and values creating a safe space for the client. She draws from trauma-informed principles, CBT, and DBT techniques, weaving in mindfulness and compassion-focused approaches to best fit the unique needs of each client.
